The Georgia Manufacturing Alliance hosted over 120 events last year providing manufacturing professionals opportunities to make valuable connections across the state. Our mission is to create a community of industry professionals that can share ideas, leads, and best business practices to provide a more vibrant economy in Georgia. By working together through events like these, we are building a stronger manufacturing community.
We hosted 50 plant tours in 2018 which gives our GMA Members and guests the opportunity to have an inside look at high quality, state-of-the art facilities around the state. We have toured highly recognizable names such as Blue Bird Bus, Daniel Defense, Gulfstream, KIA Motors, Kings Hawaiian, Husquvarna, Olympic Steel, Savannah Bee, Southwire and Yamaha.
We also like to tour and highlight smaller companies that provide valuable parts and services to industries around the world. We cap our tours at 40 attendees so everyone can network with peers while seeing best business practices in action.
We host 3 networking events a month which give manufacturers and service providers the opportunity to share ideas, pass referrals and stay up to date for what is happening in the manufacturing community.
Held in Alpharetta, Cobb, and Suwanee these sessions offer our GMA Members the opportunity to connect with others in the manufacturing industry. GMA Members can have the Reserved Industry Seat so they are the “go to” person in their group for their service.
Helping our members stay ahead of the learning curve is an important aspect of our mission at GMA. We keep a pulse on what is happening in the industry and provide Educational Workshops on topics such as Disruptive Technologies, International Manufacturing, Leadership Development, LinkedIn Training, Safety/OSHA Regulations, Sales & Marketing, and Workforce Development.
Typically a 2 hour Lunch & Learn or Breakfast format, each workshop is designed to give you concise and specific training that will keep you motivated and help lead your team to success.
Held each October at the Cobb Galleria in Atlanta, the Summit attracts over 1,000 manufacturing professionals from across the Southeast to gather to discuss the issues most important to Georgia manufacturers.
All Georgia Manufacturers are invited to join the Georgia Manufacturing Alliance Leadership Team for the presentation of the "Buy From Georgia Month" Proclamation from Governor Deal at the Georgia State Capitol. This Buy from Georgia proclamation promotes manufacturers and the goods they produce in Georgia.
Since 2008, the Georgia Manufacturing Alliance (GMA) has been supporting the manufacturing community in the state. The Georgia Manufacturing Alliance celebrated their 10th Anniversary and relived the glory of the 57th Fighter Group at Atlanta's favorite World War II aviation theme restaurant. The achievements of Jason Moss, the founder of GMA were recognized in an official Commendation from Governor Nathan Deal. Each year GMA Members celebrate their accomplishments and success at an annual anniversary celebration.
