Society of Manufacturing Engineers

Through its many programs and activities, SME connects manufacturing practitioners to each other, to the latest technology and the most up-to-date processes spanning all manufacturing industries and disciplines, plus the key areas of aerospace and defense, medical device, motor vehicles, including motorsports, oil and gas, and alternative energy. The local Atlanta SME Chapter team strives to maintain an exciting schedule of local plant tours, as well as interesting and informative technical presentations and activities, in order to promote an increased awareness of manufacturing engineering in our community.
