VETERAN RESOURCES
LUNCH & LEARN

Learn about the resources that are available to help our veterans with housing, counseling, education and tax incentives that will help them transition from the war zone back to the workplace. The Georgia Manufacturing Alliance is committed to supporting our veteran community, and we are developing a dedicated group that can share these resources with others. This Lunch & Learn will be held at the Veterans Empowerment Organization (VEO) which is GMA's chosen charity of choice for 2018.

Lunch will be provided and all proceeds from this event will go to support VEO.  A tour of VEO will follow the Lunch & Learn.

VEO provides housing and resources for veterans in transition and helps their residents complete their Self-Sufficiency Model.  This program focuses on taking the “invisible veterans” off the streets and provides housing, treatment for addiction, basic necessities, medical care, mental health counseling, life-skills training and workforce development support.  To learn more, visit www.veohero.org.
