Event Details

Step inside Rinnai America’s advanced manufacturing operation in Griffin, Georgia — the U.S. production home for tankless water heaters designed to deliver efficiency, reliability, and performance at scale. This guided tour offers a firsthand look at how a global manufacturer applies lean principles, standardized work, and workforce development to build high-quality products for the North American market.

About the Facility
Rinnai’s Griffin campus is a 300,000-square-foot manufacturing and assembly operation dedicated to U.S. production of tankless water heaters. The facility integrates assembly, testing, packaging, and distribution under one roof, enabling shorter lead times and tighter process control. Designed for scalability, the site reflects Rinnai’s long-term commitment to domestic manufacturing, operational excellence, and continuous improvement — supported by strong workforce training partnerships and disciplined production systems.

Three Key Highlights

1. Lean Assembly Operations
Observe how Rinnai structures flow-based assembly lines, standardized work, and visual management to support consistency, quality, and throughput.

2. Built-In Quality Systems
See how in-process checks, end-of-line testing, and error-proofing methods are used to ensure performance and reliability before products leave the plant.

3. Workforce-Driven Improvement
Learn how operator training, cross-functional collaboration, and daily improvement routines contribute to sustained performance and operational stability.
