Mergers & Acquisitions - Trends & Landscapes - Panel Discussion & Workshop
After decades of building your business, exit planning is one of the most challenging and critical decisions a business owner can make and needs to be planned in advance.
In recent years, business owners have struggled through the volatility of Covid, rising interest rates and global instability that has made planning for the future difficult. The buying landscape for manufacturing companies has undergone significant shifts in recent years and owners need to prepare for their exit years ahead of time to maximize the value of their business. In this workshop, we will look at the manufacturing M&A landscape, how to plan for an exit, the sales process, getting a valuation, finding the right buyer, and getting the right professional team in place.
Our presenter panel will discuss:
- Manufacturing M&A Trends and Landscape, how it has evolved in recent years and what financial and strategic buyers are looking for in today’s market.
- Planning an exit strategy, preparing your business for sale, creating more value in your business, hiring the right professional team, and getting a valuation.
- Taking your business to market, the sales process, general timelines, how to plan and preparing for due diligence.
The educational panel discussion will be from 10:00 - 2:00.
Lunch will be provided.
This educational session will be held in lieu of the normally scheduled GMA Coffee & Connections and Networking Luncheon, which are typically held on the third Friday of each month. We will include plenty of networking time during this program, so all are encouraged to join us.
